Goulding's also offers Monument Valley tours that depart from the property. I had booked a valley view apartment and was surprised when we were told we were in a a suite. Aside from the convenience and few choices in the valley I wouldn't recommend this place. Breakfast is not included which is a bit unusual these days. Going back to reception we were told that it was because we got an upgrade! Add to this a small pool very nice fresh breakfast and more views plus John Wayne's cabin and a nice little museum it's a great place for the night - and if you are there at 8pm you can watch a John Wayne film. One can't go anywhere except for the main scenic loop without a guide. However the boy at check in was the friendlies person here.
Despite this we enjoyed our stay, the suite was obviously reasonably new and spacious with fridge microwave toaster and coffee maker.
Not a lot to do in the valley except to spend money. They have a monopoly. We did have a good view however from our porch. Good thing is that it's quiet. What's not to like. They were built with little regard to aesthetic. The worst part was the restaurant. Expensive and really bad food. Their private tours seem overpriced. Amazing! Yes, it offers wheelchair access, reduced mobility rooms, and facilities for disabled guests. Taxes and fees that are shown are estimates only.

Rooms are a good size and clean and tidy with a balcony from which you can soak up the view. The sun rises right between the monuments. Not one.
