The tapas was good value as they are quite large servings (we ordered four for the two of us and didn't finish them) and the wine is reasonably priced for Nice. Wait staff was very kind. Same view, same vibe, amazing food and kind staff. Very hip and happening place and the prices are semi-reasonable for the area. La Movida No place in Vieux Nice offers better people-watching than the beach-facing tables on La Movida's streetside deck and upstairs terrace. We ended up sitting on a table inside on a beautiful day, with no view of the sea :'( As we were in a rush, we decided to stay.Cool spot overlooking the water around the corner from the flower market. In terms of tapas I would recommend the chucuterie (great value for 8 euros) and the baked cheese with truffle (6 euro and it comes with wedges).
I'd avoid ordering any frozen drinks again - large chunks of ice and minimal flavor.

We ate back to back at Movida and then Waka Bar and there was no comparison. We instantly regretted our choice. I just couldn't live with myself giving this more than 3 stars when I gave Alain Ducasse's Le Jules Verne only 4...Cool spot on the Promenade de Anglais outside Old Town. The sandwich was tasty, though there wasn't much cheese.

Nous annonce à la fin du service que les tiquets restaurant ne sont pas acceptés et le paiement en carte se fait à partir...La façade donne envie, une fois installé on se rends compte que tout est illusion ... cher, pas terrible, service lent et nonchalant, on est partis aussi vite qu’on y est rentré .Endroit agréable avec un balcon qui nous donne vue sur la promenade des anglais et sur la mer.
