Guests stay in one of 53 rose-shaded riads, each of which offers three stories of opulent luxury, and a private butler. Upon their arrival, guests are escorted through the Medina and gardens to their private residence, a traditional Moroccan Riad. The Royal Mansour isn’t just a grand name; its construction was commissioned by the owner King Mohammed VI and is used frequently to host his most honoured guests. I swear I tried to find any failure but it was impossible. We stayed for two days and wanted to stay for a week. From plunge pools on the roof and exquisite marble bathrooms (with every rose-scented amenity under the sun) to sun-dappled courtyards and silk-covered walls, every inch of these riads has been crafted to perfection. Commissioned by the King of Morocco with the aim to capture the best of the country's architecture and visual culture, Royal Mansour Marrakech is nothing short of immaculate. The staff arranged for us to be dropped off at the airport in a Bentley. A stroll around the hotel grounds, recently extended to include a market garden, delivers a welcome sense of space and calm in this chaotic city, with only the distant sound of the call to prayer and birdsong to interrupt the silence. The hotel was born out of a vision to create a spectacular masterpiece exceeding the demands of today’s discerning traveler, while reflecting the true essence of Moroccan tradition.
The manicure/pedicure is fantastic. Are any cleaning services offered at Royal Mansour Marrakech?Yes, dry cleaning and laundry service are offered to guests. The Royal Mansour is often said to be the best hotel in Marrakech; it was commissioned by King Mohammed VI, after all, with no expense spared. Had loads of fun; front desk is extremely helpful while organizing activities and/or following trips in Morocco. Those who prefer poolside privacy can opt for one of the new, swanky cabanas, with sofas, day beds and their own terraces. We stayed in a large private house and it was stunning, with a private pool on the rooftop and a private discreet butler whom we adored and appreciated.

The grounds, staff, decor, architecture are all out of this world. This is a very polished, cultured and international property. We felt like we entered the movie Aladdin upon arrival because of how the bell men were dressed and it was so exotic! This decade of exposure to the world's best hotels, restaurant, spas, bars and more has left me horribly spoilt but equally well qualified to dish out the latest luxury lifestyle news. The spa is a chapter by itself, even if you don’t want to experience the tradicional hamman you must get a massage and enjoy the beautiful architecture.
