The Village lets you explore its slalom, mogul runs and snow parks. We have stayed at many club meds over the years (mostly in Asia ) but this was our first skiing club med.

Liked the kitchen which had everything you needed, it really was a mini kitchen made up of a hob and fridge in a small area, but we didn’t need anything more.

The location was perfect! While it's said that those who appreciate Tignes do so for the serious skiing over the après ski, this doesn't do justice to the fact that Tignes' 60+ bars/pubs and 4 night clubs provide some of the best nightlife in the Alps. Predominantly purpose built, the resort itself is divided into 5 villages, each different in its own way but all well linked by lifts and bus services. The kitchen had all the utensils and a decent oven.
Club med makes it hassle free with transfer, meals and drinks included,ski to the door , ski pass organised and always in our experience great ski lessons for the whole week included.

The view on the balcony was partially blocked by other apartment blocks, but you still had a good view of the slopes and mountains. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged.

It is ski in ski out and you can take advantage of 2 lessons a day with an instructor and group of about 10 who are at a similar level. Club med wins hands down - skiing is a full on sport and the help and organisation that club med supply just makes your experience so much sweeter so you can enjoy the snow to the max !
