As Africa’s largest and most inclusive festival of music and the arts, MTN Bushfire has earned its global reputation as a distinctly African, yet globally-infused, festival experience.The musical line-up of the various MTN Bushfire stages reflects this diversity and includes both well-known and loved African and global artists, as well as new, emerging or undiscovered musical gems.Each year, the MTN Bushfire Main Stage, House On Fire Amphitheatre, The Barn, and FireFly Stage present over 70 performing acts from across musical and performance genres and from all over the world. We are happy to announce that the application period started the 1st of November and will last until the 15th of December 2019. This year too the activities of the Biennale College - Musica will be part of the programme: the project aims to support the production of 4 original works for solo instrument, live electronics and real-time video.The Music department is directed by Ivan Fedele (Lecce, 1953), a composer whose opus currently counts over 175 works and includes compositions of every kind: orchestral pieces, works for the theatre, electro-acoustic and chamber music.
Our festival dates are July 22-26, 2020 - but also let us know if you will be passing through our neck of the woods at any other point during the year.

The Rainforest World Music Festival (often abbreviated as RWMF) is an annual three-day music festival celebrating the diversity of world music, held in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, with daytime music workshops, cultural displays, craft displays, food stalls, and main-stage evening concerts. Atypicals projects can also be played in other places such as The Castle of St Chamand, accessible only by shuttle gauge 100 seats, stage 14 x 8 meters, or L’Ecole d’Art for installations, exhibitions. We appreciate the efforts of all artists and your submission will be reviewed by the R&S Music Committee.
