Her exhibitions are notoriously hard to get into—lines for her touring show in New York City were up to four hours long in 2018, and people still waited—but with the new year comes plenty of opportunities to see permanent and new traveling exhibits around the world. There will be an Infinity Mirror room on hand as well, so again, expect lines.Through 7 February, 2021, you can dive into Kusama’s own work and her influence on the contemporary art world at in its own right, the museum is showcasing Love Is Calling, the artist’s largest existing Infinity Mirror room that’s filled with neon polka-dotted inflatable tentacles that come at you from nearly every angle.
The Broad has two Infinity Mirror rooms at no additional charge to visitors: a multi-colored, LED-lit miniature room you can view through a porthole and The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away, a fully immersive galaxy room.
